Selected to take part in the Year 6 Bryanston Maths challenge on Friday 19th January, Raaghav Sharma and Grayson Smith achieved an amazing 4th place in the first team, against 25 schools. Benjamin Kipps and Isobel Roberts in the second team, also achieved an excellent 10th place out of 25 schools. Well done to both teams! The pupils demonstrated an excellent attitude on the day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Selected to take part in the Year 4 Bryanston Maths challenge on Thursday 18th January, Eddie Tarrant and Hugo Kaine achieved 5th place in the first team, against 18 schools. William Hall and Charlie Boyes in the second team also achieved an excellent 11th place out of 18 schools. Well done boys! The pupils demonstrated an excellent attitude on the day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
On Tuesday 10th October Betsy Monga, Issac Tarrant, Ben Kipps and Madeleine Clayton, from Years 5 and 6, took part in the Logic Cup at Lord Wandsworth College. They achieved a brilliant 6th place out of 12 teams after competing in a range of mathematical challenges, including a maths based orienteering round!
On Monday 9th October four Year 5 children; Isaac Tarrant, Alice Chadwick, Edward Cole and Betsy Monga went along to the Ballard Maths Competition with Mr Brett. Over the course of 6 rounds the children battled over a wide range of Maths problems against 17 other schools. The children had a wonderful time and represented the school excellently.
